Horned Headwear
The headwear and matching choker are inspired by the story of how Maleficent lost her wings. The feathers that once resided on her wings now adorn her horns. The base of the headpiece and choker was molded to the head using sinamay. The feather portion of the horns is also sinamay, but the embellished portion is molding clay. Individual pieces of beading were attached and layered along with the dangling strings of beads.
