10x50 inch panorama made from 3 panels. Combines elements of color theory, transparency, space, and depth. The mediums are paint and collage on an illustration board.

An urban scene painted using a triadic color combination with variations in shade. Acrylic paint on a 12x12 inch illustration board.
Transparency Collage
A 14x14" asymmetrical, linear design with the illusion of transparency in a color scenario. The design uses elements of collage, paint, and visual texture. The design was then digitally put into a symmetrical composition.
Multi-Media Panorama
10x50 inch panorama made from 3 panels of illustration board. Combines elements from previous black-and-white work. The skull on the left and section on the far right are drawn using micron pens. The leaves are cut paper with a component of transparency. The eyes and cones are in acrylic paint. The winding path is cut paper. 
Japanese Notan
16x20 inch notan using ink on illustration board. The composition is made up of a repeat geometric shape at different scales and a Japanese scene of a samurai.
13 Values
18x18 inch painting with a focus on value. Images were collected from objects in class and my own face. 13 different values using acrylic paint on the illustration board.
Cut Paper Pattern
20x20 inch cut paper using pattern and figure-ground reversal. The entire black part is one piece of paper with a pattern cut out of it. The holes are then filled with visual texture, white, and grey paper.
Linear Organic Pattern
A linear composition using two organic shapes that overlap; scale up and down; and repeat to form a symmetrical design. Materials used: black, white, and grey acrylic paint, bristol paper, paint brushes, and matte medium.
